Do you know how Physical Presence Test is calculated?
Physical Presence Test is calculated basis on the days you physically present in a foreign country. You must be physically present in a foreign country or countries for at least 330 full days during a period of 12 consecutive months to calculate Physical Presence Test.
It is not required that you have to be in a foreign country only for employment purpose. Your vacation time should also be considered on 330 days calculation.
330 full days in a foreign country during 12 consecutive months means that you may have up to 35 days (365-330 days) travel to US during the 12 consecutive months. But more than 35 US days during that 12 months will not qualify for Physical Presence Test.
